The Buffalo Horse

I'd say I come from one of the most stereotyped states in the U.S.

I'm from Texas, and it seems that many people that aren't from here think you own pick ups trucks, eat barbecue constantly and are a stupid hick.. that enjoys hunting.
It bothers me to no end.

Mostly because I'm not really in that category.
I'm a vegetarian (have been since I was a toddler), nobody in my family owns those gas guzzler trucks and SUVs, I'm against hunting of any sort too. I have a little bit of an accent but I make good grades and all.. What gives?
I don't know anyone that constantly wears boots or cowboy hates
Sure, I lived on a ranch when I was little. That's basically it though.

what kind of stereotypes seem to come with wherever you're from?
oh, but the best part is that when I tell them I moved from mexico to texas, they think i'm an illegal immigrant.
